Trades work as though the recipient had drafted that person. If pq would have traded VJ to you, you would have lost a 2nd rounder.
However if I traded Vj to you, you'd only lose your 16th rounder, because he had already gone through waviers and wasn't drafted. Keep in mind, that next year, if you keep the same player you kept this year, you will continue to lose that same round pick. If I keep Frank Gore (waivers), that means in year 3, I'll still only lose a 16th round pick. Make sense? If not, call me. |
