as far as attacking them.... thats all ive seen. look at the 24" wheel thread. 90% of the replies in there are "dude, are you f#$(ing stupid? why would you ruin the car running that size wheel on it?"

its his car. if you dont like what he's doing to it fine. but instead of calling him f'n stupid, just say, "hey, not my taste" and move on.


Im glad that we dont fall into the traditional "bash every single other car that isnt mine" type of forum. we actually look into our competition to get a better edge up on them. Know thine enemy.

if you are getting butt hurt because we arent bashing every member on here that doesnt drive a camaro, then leave. Im tired of people like you coming onto here bitching about every little thing that crawls up your ass. Tell ya what, go make your own 5th gen camaro site and run it how you want it to be run.

we try to keep the all out bashing to a minimum. granted there will always be some good natured ribbing. but thats the key point its good natured. dont get me wrong, I love the camaro. im not a big fan of the mustang, but they've been able to sell nonstop since '64. and I will give them respect where it is due. but just like there are idiots out there driving mustangs, there will be idiots out their driving camaros. im waiting to see how long it takes before the first wreck is posted up on here in fact.

Frankly this forum was designed to talk about a single car, not GM in general. Although obviously, because GM makes the Camaro, it is only natural that many members are die-hard GM fans, that does not make this a "GM forum". It might be natural for you, but that doesn't mean that it follows this forum or society-at-large's idea of decorum. You can discuss the various aspects of competing vehicles and make your opinion known, without doing so in a disrespectful manner. THAT is only natural. Bashing is unnatural and downright rude.

In short, I'm sorry you've had a negative experience on this forum but if you were being treated in a disrespectful manner then I have no doubt the mods dealt with it in a timely manner. However, regardless of how it was handled, that does not give you license to post a disrespectful thread of your own.

So...are you saying that on any forum...created for a product with competitors...there will not be ANYONE that would start threads that would try to rag on the competition...I wish capitalism was so nice...but it helps fuel love for the anything. I myself have never bought any car from a company based out of the US. It killed the economy (we were importing more than exporting).

In fact...for the video i posted...i was given a warning.

And again...defending the competition...my point is further proven by your reply...I'm not trying to cause a tangle, but just pointing out in your post that when you were trying offer your opinion you also were doing the exact thing i had posted. I grew up in a 68 mustang and personally i really like the classics and the 05's+ but the camaro is such a better deal i'm going with it challenger, camaro, or mustang are all american muscle and great cars. i'm curious how you would act at a car show freaking out because theres cars OTHER than the camaro?

Now i can only imagine how many replies i'll get saying that....im ignorant, or I am just lookin for a fight...the fact is i just love my Trans Am and therefore i love GM and hate anything else...and my loyalty will never be broken.

You watch any reviews from overseas on cars made from chrysler or ford...and you'll see that those companies help fuel this global image of american manufacturing of mediocre

you do me a favor and find where another car has been posted/compared/whatever on here that anyone has agreed that it is a better bang for the buck than the camaro. (and it cant be the v-6 camaro vs the SS)

Wow, what a thread! I mean I'm so impressed with the attitude of all you Camaeo5 guys. You're even being somewhat congenial to chewy4ce, and why not, he just thinks differently than we do...doesn't necessarily make him a bad person. But make no mistake, we Camaro5 guys will only take so much bashing and then it gets nasty.
