Korn, Coal Chamber, Tool, Slipknot. They just don't make music like they used to.
Agreed. I didn't get a lot of exposure to most of those bands 10 years ago, but thanks to customizable internet radio I see how much I missed.

I just hate it when bands go through the whole "I'm an artist and want to express my poetic side through my music" phase. It completely ruins who the band really is. IMO. Korn is doing it. Slipknot did it after their second albun and completely ruined who they really were. Now they're just Stonesour 2.0.
Don't forget Linkin Park. Each album has gotten worse as they've 'grown'. Hybrid Theory was great, Meteora was alright, I debated whether or not to buy Minutes to Midnight, I see no reason to buy A Thousand Suns. I can appreciate the need to push yourself, but stick with what brought you to the dance.

Hybrid Theory was genius and different.
Then they ruined the uniqueness.

I never really cared for their stuff. A couple of their first songs were ok, but after that I've always changed the station when their music is on.

OMG, I listen to that song every day in my car. I've had it on my iPhone for a few years now. It's actually a pretty good song. lmao
