Pontiac G8

Hey Guys,

I'm very interested in the G8 sedan (the v6) and was wondering if anyone here owns one or has any opinions on them. Also, anyone have any idea what one would go for used? I'm going to the autoshow in a couple weeks (Toronto) and i have full intents of sitting in one and drooling.

Let me know what you think.

From what I've heard, it's a very capable vehicle for a V6. Interior's just as good as the GT's.

A lot of car for the money. I suggest you go test drive a 3 series Bimmer as well so that you realize how much value is in a G8.

I don't have one, but they are very nice cars. If you can afford new and don't mind waiting, the V6 will get direct injection for 2010. But the current V6 is good too.

check out G8board.com

Lots of people have the V6's there and really like them. You can get pretty good deals on them right now. I'm sure if you stop in to your local pontiac dealer they'd have at least one for you to check out, perhaps even test drive.

$3,500 discount to Canadians right now above whatever deal you can negotiate with the dealer!

O sweet, I didn't realize that it was getting Direct Injection. I'd definately wait for it and i don't really have the money for it right now (getting married in 2010). As it stands the G8 is very high on my list, i'm going to need a four vehicle (otherwise i'd just get the camaro).

My cousin has a V6. Her and her family like it. I drove it and it only seemed big when I was backing out of the driveway. And the back seats are huge

Post like that, and you sound like one. Ask where you can read up on this information.
