The way I see it is that GM was always this big. Toyota has had to take on too many suppliers to keep up with the growing demand. One of the guys from Toyota should have said "hold on a second, we need to maintain our integrity here" But nobody said that. They just cheered for the massive increase in sales, and let their old ways slip. Now they are going to have to suffer the punishments for a very bad move. At least before they had their bullsh!t quality crap to fall back on, but now what do they have. What is so special about owning a Toyota now.

Your car is less likely to be noticed in a parking lot, and therefore less likely to be broken into?

Hey, could be worse. You could've ended up in this...

Somehow Toyota forgot that an MCE is supposed to make the car look better...

A toyota hasn't ever gone boom, its the Fords that have, almost killing my Friend and his daughter.

On a sidenote, I asked him about Ford's response; It was very similar to,

"(Ford)Insurance paid you already?'.
(Him) 'Yes they did'.
(Ford)'Then what else do you want from us'
(Him)'Issue a Recall on this faulty car and I'll buy a Mustang GT if you are able to give me a deal'
(Ford)'No can do'...

Now another good friends BMW had a lemon law buy back(it wasn't a lemon law recall) but lets just say there was dealer tech mishap as they misdiagnosed it after the first service(he was one of the first to buy the new body E9X M3)....
They serviced the car but forgot to hook a ground up...The DCT transmission kept on stalling out...They reflashed it with the newer software, still happened, after they loaded a faulty update (they diagnosed the problem but the same issue happened due to the new software).... so it was corrected yet, BMW NA asked if he wanted to get a new one and they severely discounted him a new E90 M3 Sedan with every option)...His model was a base so he wanted to get one with at least the leather interior and Nav.
