Step 2: Break the ice by asking her if she feels Mr. Darcy snubbed Elizabeth purely for social reasons, or if maybe there was a deeper sense of respect that he had for her and was denying his true feelings for her by keeping his distance.

Step 3: Point out the parallel with your situation and Mr. Darcy's, stating that you think Mr. Darcy was wrong to deny his true feelings for Elizabeth and that is something you could never do to a beautiful girl you respect as much as her.

You're gonna have to know this stuff once you get married, so you might as well get the hard part out of the way right off the bat.

By staring at her, you're already showing interest. When you go up to talk to her, you'll be showing interest. You should go up to her and say something interesting. (By the way, when you approach her, don't approach her straight on or it will seem confrontational. Don't approach her from behind either or she'll "have the power". Approach her at an angle)

Don't over-think it, just approach. The more you think about it, the more nervous you will become and then eventually your mind will talk you out of it!

A few questions first: Do you guys do the same drills for swimming? Is there anything the guys do differently than the girls?
