What the Regal GS should have been...
Obviously with the GS styling, and a few upgrades here and there. I'm really digging this car.

Not sure it would sell as hot as a Buick for 43k just being honest.

There's been some "slight of hand" with the Regal GS. It was unveiled at the Chicago Auto Show as AWD, which somehow got misplaced between the Windy City and the impending Dealers' showrooms.
And yes, a $40,000 Regal GS should outsell a similarly-priced and -contented "counterpart" from Volvo...but ours isn't 300 hp, either... |

the first one is honestly (sorry to say it because it is an obvious CTS-V Coupe ripoff which I love) AWFUL. The second one appears to be front regal, back Accord Coupe and possibly closer to what could be expected.

Just for everyone that has been complaining that the Regal GS should have been EXACTLY what the Insignia OPC is:
Insignia OPC, 44,900 Euros............................just shy of $60,000 US. Remove the 19% VAT and you are right about $49,000 US. Who's in? And no, bringing it to the US doesn't magically make it cheaper. To be cheaper you lose AWD and V6 Turbos.
