scam or no scam selling my car?

im selling a car and a guy from dubai wants to purchase my car

he wants to give me a bank transfer and tranfer money into my acount

then after i get the money his shipper will come from florida pick up the car and ship it to dubai.

is this a scam or not

i am not selling my camaro by the way

i am selling ferrari 328 gtb replica 99000 dollars if anyone is interested pm me it is just a sick car and probably gets more attention than my camaro

Sounds like a scam to get your account info. Could be legit though.

he wants to wire transfer

but he is asking me for my adress account number and everything i talked to him on the phone live.

he sent me a conditional bill of sale and he has a car dealership in dubai

on the bill of sale it asks me for account number and adress name

Get your bank involved before you do anything. They will help out A LOT.

+1 for talking to your bank.

They may be able to do an escrow account to hold funds until they clear.

Don't let anyone have your car until the bank gives the ok in writing!

I would notify the bank and accept deposits only and put some sort of account watch on your account, but I still think it's a scam to get your account info, IMHO..... I was involved in a scam like this once, but they sent me a cashiers check and wanted me to pay the shipping company the overage from the check

....I still have the cashiers check...looks real, but it would bounce to the moon.

he also said his lawyer could give my lawyer cash

and ive read that he could send me the money but it could be money that was from identity theft

Just inform your bank that your 95% sure its legit and so they can watch the account for activity.

Just know asking for an account number is very common when its over sea's and even part of Canada, its like giving out your phone number over there, and folks can only add money with it.

Problem is here in the states that’s not always true as they are too trusting. And anyone with your info can print checks or buy crap online. But your not liable for that. Some way banks find its cheaper to write it off then make you need a password to move, spend, withdraw money when you use a bank account n routing number. [aka write a check] but as there, same here, anyone can put money into your account with that info too.

Want to have fun with someone you like, write down their account n routing number and go into their bank and anonymously deposit money into it every so often. Even better if they are anal about keeping track of money.

If you are doing this, don't give out your everyday account. . has Chris said, set up a escrow account and have the money put in there.
