Angry I hate people!!!

So I'm driving to school this morning and as I'm driving this truck comes up behind me, and since I have been rear-ended before (long before I have ever had my camaro thank god) I am very uncomfortable with people getting so close that all I can see is their headlights. Now I know that he didn't know that but still, it is so unsafe and uncalled for, even since I was going about 6 or 7 over. So I decided to do what I do everytime this happens to me, I step on my brake pedal just enough to turn my brake lights on but not enough to slow down. Well what followed was an FML scenario. He gave me about five middle fingers which didn't really bother me but what really pissed me off was he then tried to run me off the road 3 times, cut me off and brake hard about 4 times. All of which if I hadn't been paying attention could have made me wreck bad.

After this happened it made me think, what would have happened if I really did need to slam on my brakes to avoid a collision with him that close. Needles to say I could tell he was a high school student (go figure) cause he had a high school parking thing hanging from his rear view mirror. God I hate people! Sorry but I just had to vent.

It's really too bad people have to be like that.

Pretty sure I'd have reported him and his license plate to the police if they tried to run me off the road!

I agree.......get their license plate number, and turn them in to the police/sheriff/highway patrol, next time. That will make them think twice.

I hate when the person behind me is on their cell phone. I spend more time looking in my mirror than out my windshield.

Would have if I was able to get a look at his plate. Too focused on avoiding wrecking my car.

If he hadn't taken a U-turn less than 1/2 mile from my college I would have.

Oh well. Maybe one day he will crash into a really expensive car and get sued by some rich person for more money than he has.

They tried to run you off the road? That's when you bust out your cell phone and call the cops!

On-Star is your friend in this aspect...push the button and follow the person until the cops show up. Let them scare the *&%^$ out of the punk and give him a ticket for reckless driving, threats, and attempting to cause harm with a vehicle. NEVER let people get away with this kind of crap.

I had a college student riding my ass the other day. I was in the fast lane, with normal (probably too close for our speed) distance from the car in front of me... There was some jerkwad going less than the speed limit about 4 cars up front (so I'm 5 idiot behind me 6). She was so close, I couldn't see here headlights.

I told myself, repeatedly, not to brake check her. I tapped my breaks... didn't get it. I was already in a piss poor mood so I brake checked her. Scared the crap out of her... she moved in the other lane and slowed down.

Was it wise? No. But she was being a freak and I couldn't get over into the other lane... and I wasn't the jerkwad holding up traffic either.

I love brake checking people. Especially when the TA needs some paint/body work. I can get it for free.
