There is a vendor on here somewhere that sells convex side mirrors. I don't know the exact figure but it gives you roughly like 140% visibility over the OEM mirrors.

That's the I drive in my 4th gen as well I never even use the mirrors, just whip my head around.

Nice that you can do this in gen 4. Turning your head right doesn't do much in the 5th gen, and turning left reveals nothing at all. You gotta use your mirrors every time, so they had better work...

Not nice. Compared to my civic HB... it is the car.

I will not put one of the concave mirrors on the camaro. My parents swearrrrr by it but they drive a Prius. Hopefully tomorrow it's not sleeting/snowing and I can fuss with the mirrors in a parking lot.

I checked both the side and rearview mirror AND looked.

I think a lot of it has to do with being tall. I noticed when I scoot the seat up - like I was short - I could see out of the passenger side much better. Whereas with the thing nearly all the way back - I'm leggy 35" inseam - I don't really see squat. Just an observation.

WTH not? Because your parents told you that you should? Kinda pithy if you ask me. You don't like crashing, do you? Don't let your pride kill your Camaro.

LOL - no. Because when my mom asked why not I told her it was for "Old people" (totally joking) and that I wasn't putting THAT on my car until I messed with the mirrors first. Plus, they're not "pretty".

Thank you both!!

Adjust your mirrors properly and any "blind spots" go away!
Of course turning your head helps, too....

Where do ya' find one of those concave mirrors to add on to the Camaro's regular accoutrements? The ones I've seen are all convex (bowed outward).
What is the advantage of the concave type, and where does one install them?

I got mine at Wal Mart! They just stick on the mirror on the corner. No blind spots anymore. I had them on my Intrepid which had horrible blind spots. Problem gone. I would not want to drive without them now. They do not look bad either. I'll try to get a pic of them when I get a chance.
