Just google and find an unlocking service or hit up a local GSM shop. Not a store but like a pawn style shop. They can usually do it or people on craigsllst too. I usually go to a local place and they have the phone for like an hour and its done. But its easy to do yourself with the unlock code. Usually costs about 30 bucks.

I wouldn't use ehow. I mean if you needed help unlocking or jail breaking an iPhone then I could totally walk you through the process.

Better let someone who knows well handle it for you, why not take it to the local shop as turboguy advised? these guys are quiet well versed in such cases. And also it is better not to play with the settings after unlocking it.

sorry but if you lived any where near me i could have my buddy do it for a low cost of 20 bucks. they can unlock any phone that is a gsm phone. they even did the iphones not that it is anything special. your best bet is to find a mom and pop cell phone shop in your area and just ask them

First off, you don't need to pay anyone to unlock your phone. All you need is some unlock software and your computer. Find a forum for your phone, I guarantee there is one for your phone, or manufacturer. Go on the forum, ask some questions. Someone will direct you to some free unlock software

Secondly, call T mobile customer service and tell them you want the unlock code for your phone. Some companies will give it out, others won't. Seems like you just have to catch the right person on the right day.

It is really, though would never hack an active phone.

But had a fun time with an old Razor phone, big forum "hack the razor" showed lots of neat tricks. Might play with my current phone if it wasn't Virgin, they hard disable things so you can't even hook up to a PC.
