Clock is ticking - need advice...

So the lease on my current car is up on March 27th. I ordered a black 2SS/RS on 10/13, so I'm hoping to take delivery in early May. Of course I cannot extend my lease, because the space cadets at Chrysler decided that they will no longer lease cars. I need a reliable car to hold me over until I get my Camaro because I am constantly visiting clients for my job.

Is my only option to find a beater and trade it in? I probably could have gotten away with not getting something if they didn't push production back.

Why not buy out your leased car and then trade it for the Camaro (or sell it outright when your Camaro comes)?

Well they offered me a buyout at $16K, and the KBB trade in value is $10K so that is pretty much out.
