Hi Joanne!

My son didn't make it for dinner. :( We had a little snow/sleet that morning and even though it wasn't that bad, this is his first year of winter driving. So I told him to stay up there. I really wanted him at the table, but felt better knowing he was safe and not on the roads. Y'know... all that mom worry stuff.

Pies??? OMG.. I'm tired of looking at them!

Well, he can have a home cooked meal anytime he wants, it just wont be Thanksgiving. Besides, he said he'd be here for Christmas when I do my standing rib roast.

Lets see... I've been eating pumpkin pie for breakfast, cherry for lunch, gave two or three slices of each to my buddy Dave, and the Shoo-Fly has only one piece out of it. Tomorrow is trash night, so out they go.

Weather is better now. Not sure what tomorrow will be. Hopefully no more of that snow and freezing rain stuff. Driving to NJ tomorrow and I don't have my beater-mobile on the road yet, and have summer tires on the car.

I know hon, and you're right, but day off hurts the paycheck. :( Besides, it might not be an issue. If I was smart I'd check the weather instead of reading threads about the awesome mods you guys are doing.
