Oprah sucks and this is just another move on her part that was not supporting America and the Republic for which we stand. Obvious that she would support a socialistic America. Boycott Oprah!

She does it for the publicity which in turn makes her richer. Its all over the tv. Good way to market yourself Oprah by demeaning people less fortunate by saying "ha ha ha....I can give anything away and it doesn't hurt me! ha ha ha" -- She should try to give away a few pounds off her body if she wants to impress me. Ha! try that Oprah!!! Not so easy is it?

Why would you think that? Politics ban aside, this a pretty heavily Republican and male site. That's not the demographic that has any love for Oprah. Now post something about Chris Christie or someone like that, then it's a different story.

Why all the outrage? It's just a promotion- she's good at promoting things. That's why people pay to advertise on her program. It's not some conspiracy-it's just show business. And no I'm not towelling anyone's balls off. Just seems like a 'meh' thing to get mad about. As far as that stupid article about the homeless person, most cities ask that people give to the shelters instead of directly to the homeless. Maybe she's just doing her civic duty. Watch Conan- he's doing a Chevy promotion.

If you are extremely wealthy and live a certain way, that's great and nobody else's business. When your whole career is based on being a generous humanitarian and everyone praises you for it, I expect more than what she does. Much more. It's great she can give away a few million, but please don't act like that's even remotely a sacrifice for her. She's worth well over a billion. That's like me donating $50 and seeking praise for it.
She's donated around 300-400 million to charities. Considering she has, nor should she have to, donated this much money makes her at least a decent "humanitarian" in my book. Also, no matter which way you try to spin it to coincide with your "morally correct" views, she has offered a service (talk show) and consumers (viewers) have given her money for it. Of course, you're stressing a dollar value while ignoring the lives she has helped without just shoving money in their pockets.

Oh well, at least GM isn't the only car company that built "The Oprah Car."
