ok....here are a few that will cause no damage....but will be a REAL PITA for the culprit.

go to a tires store or auto parts store where you can buy valve stem cores. and the tool to replace them. Put it on you glovebox. don't do this to just ONE tire, ya gotta do at least 2. remove teh valve core and replace it once teh tire is either flat or just about.....go to teh next one. that way they can't just change the flat. NO DAMAGE, just a head ache.

buy some PRUSSION BLUE, make sure you keep some latex gloves handy, you don't want to get it on you, unless you have a water sourse handy. on cars that you reach under the door handle to open them, smear it on the underside of the handle.....th-ey get a nice superise when they open theh door....and it messy, and takes a bit to get off of your skin.

if you happen to also have a nice truck....and happen to carry a small floor jack in the back, and a cinder block or two......check adn see if the cinder block will go under the Differential, if not....jack up the car just enough and leave them with the cinder block UNDER the diff...hope they have a floor jack.

OK, I am going to use something I did to someone in High School. This would work in this case, but would require special equipment.

This was in Oak Harbor, WA...where the Navy has a strong presence due to Whidbey Island Naval Air Station. There was a guy who was the son of one of the Commanders in the Navy. Because his father pretty much ran things, he was an a-hole to all the other students because most of the students were Navy children. I wasn't one of those children. One evening when he was staying late at school, a friend of mine who's father ran the U-Rent-It place got a crane, took it to the school and proceeded to lift this guys VW Thing on to the roof of the gymnasium.

Later that year I took a bottle of talcum powder and put an M80 into it with a long fuse. Lit it, and put it in his VW Thing shortly before final class bell rang. As he was walking out to the car, his interior of the car turned white with a slight poof.

If the offending vehicle is still there..... very carefully match the damage on his car with a large tire iron.... If the owner is still there, show him where Jimmy Hoffa is......

I want to see all the creative things one would do to GET EVEN

personally I like removing valve stems because at first glance it appears the tire has been slashed especially when multiple tires are to the rim flat.
I actually did this once only to witness a wrecker with a flatbed come to rescue the vehicle. laughed my ass off. anyway letter rip.
This is my favorite and is what I post on these type of threads. Cheap, easy, no damage done other than having to replace four of the valve cores. Yet leaves the car on the ground like having 4 tires slashed.

I wouldn't sink to their level by doing something to their car ,but I would break their head open if I knew who it was.
