Ya know, I kinda thought they just used they same one. I think that would keep the track times more accurate, but the guy's a stunt driver so I guess it makes sense. Hes got a busy schedule and cant always be there.

The original Stig was Perry McCarthy, I'm not sure if he still does it sometimes though...

I've know about McCarthy and Ben Collins. Didn't really care enough to notice the different heights. Stig is an entity, who plays the part at any given time is irrelevant.

TopGear is a British TV show that takes many different vehicles & puts them through just about any test imaginable. The Stig is the mysterious, unidentified test driver who takes the car in review around their track for a hot lap & whatever time he/it gets, they post it up as a comparison to other cars he/it's tested.

OK, come on now, no one actuaally believes this do you? Everyone knows The Stig is... uh... he's a... Hmm, i don't know what he is, but he not human that's for sure. Like stovt001 said, these are just his minions that do his publics bidding!! In reality, for all you know, The Stig could be a figment (sp?) of all of the world's imagination!!
