And they sure as hell make you pay for it. They have nice interiors, but as far as performance goes, they are not very good. A friend of mine's dad bought an IS250 a while ago, and I made him test drive a CTS (the price was pretty much the same, like 38k) and he was pissed off he made such a stupid decision to buy that underpowered, overpriced Lexus.

I've noticed that Lexus drivers and Toyota drivers both tend to think, or act rather, like they own the road. Pulling out faster (or trying to muhahaha), cutting you off, passing when you're already over the limit......Of the two, Lexus drivers are FAR worse in my area, though.

And NEVER...NEVER...have I been cut off by a domestic. Coincidence? Probably...but kinda ironic.

+1.

It's always a domestic that lets me out of a driveway, or lets me merge into their lane on a highway.

Import drivers tend to be the biggest a**holes ever from what I've seen, especially to domestic drivers. It's almost as if they think they're better just because they bought an import.

I get it the worst driving my car. Every import driver that thinks they have a "fast" car will cut me off, fly-by me, or tailgate me at ridiculously close quarters. BMW and Honda drivers are the worst in this area.
Usually with other cars like mustangs or other f-bodies it's just freindly horse play, and they are generally freindly drivers.

Hey, I've said it a million times. I paid about 12 thousand dollars for the silver 'L' on the front and back of the Lexus I bought. (and yes I know it's a Toyota, like Infinity is Nissan, Accura is Honda etc.) But I bought it for my wife who said if we buy the car she wants then I can buy the Camaro of my choice when it comes out.

NO BRAINER!!!!!

For what it is I have been happy with it though. Just over-priced. If you can afford it, and she wants it, what's the problem?
ps I promise, she's one Lexus driver that doesn't fit your sterio-type.

That's the only acceptable reason for owning one. You have been pardoned!

I see. I haven't been following the latest on what Lexus is doing, but I would have thought that the IS-F would be keeping up with the competition.

To me, BMW drivers are the worst, followed by Lexus. As for Lexus as a brand, well they are the best appliances you can drive. However, they are far from the best machines on the road.

Oh man, Lexus drivers aren't even CLOSE to as bad as Prius drivers. They actually look upon others with disdain if you aren't measuring up in the green department. I also think some Prius owners get off on pulling out in front of trucks and holding them at 1 mph below the speed limit while they display their mad hypermiling skills.

Next on the list is VW VR6 owners. That is an honest to god kool-aid drinking cult.

Lexus drivers just seem to be too busy talking on their blue-tooth ear pieces to realize what's going on around them. In my area it seems like 2 out of 3 Lexus owners are realtors- or at least they were, that may have changed in the last few months.

That's my rant for the day, thank you for the opportunity.

Haha, that pretty well sums things up.

But remember guys, to the outside world we're the mullet brigade. Stereotypes only go so far.
