Still struggling with SGU, I dont like the idea of putting ordinary people in extraordinary situations, who wants to watch that?

The cool thing about Star Trek TNG, SG, SGA is that you put a bunch of kick ass, best of the best people against the scourge of the universe, and with intelligence, skill and a bit of luck, they come out on top at the end of every episode.

That is what I want to watch.

Maybe that's what I don't like about it. All the bickering and infighting is annoying.

I wish they would have shown SG1 on my ship. By the time I got out I already missed too many seasons!

Now I'm waiting on them to release the boxset on BD. Then I can sit down and watch all 9900 minutes.

Fan here, SGA was my favorite. I didn't know about the movie they were making, hope it comes out soon! I think SGU is getting better. The last episode IMHO should be a decent turning point, not going to say anything, don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet

SG-1 is my favorite although they are all good. Carter gets my vote.

Yes, I got a thing for her (Amanda Tapping) too. And I submit this as a example. Though it's a little late for vet day.

No idea why they can't keep the same story lines going, cept to be able to bring in cheaper actors.

Everyone has their own tastes. While far inferior to SG-1 and SGA, I do still like SGU. I think after the last episode, the series will be going in a new, better direction and will be far more interesting.

SG1 was the best!! actually besides Battlestar Galactica it is one of my favorite shows ever on TV. the movies were great also. SGA became the John Shepard show and it got lame fast although they ended on a great note. I hope they can come back with a movie and finish that off but if thats where it ends at least they went out with a bang. I have a feeling someday somehow they will use the city of Atlantis to resuce the crew of the Destiny on a crossover episode.....

as for SGU it is ok at best. i would say not as good as Atlantis but better than some shows out there right now. but the thing is it is getting better and better all the time. I don't really care for the "crisis of the week" thing but it works on SGU. I just don't see where they are going with it..... so we shall see wha tthe future brings.

oh and Amanda Tapping FTW!!!!

The comments seems to have died-off a bit, but thought I would throw in my .02. SG-1 was by far the best, although, the show struggled a bit when O'Neill and Hammond left, but it was still pretty good. Tried to get into SGA, but just couldn't, I think it was the lack of chemistry between the characters (that SG-1 had). SGU seems to have potential and I like it over all, it is just not SG-1.
