but with the way the junk yard does things, they take a junk wheel, and weld a rim onto it vertically (they do this for 4 sets) then set the car on the 4 rims so it is off the ground. however, when they did that, they crushed the side skirts and folded the metal where the frame components are welded together so it overlapped on both front fenders and we could not get them off.

pissed me off. then when we went to leave and pay for the front bumper, we still had the light bar attached to it and they wanted to charge us extra for it. so i yanked it off and left it on their counter.

Well, at least it was off the ground instead of sitting on flats. And I didn't think any yard let you pull anything yourself anymore because of liability. One near me, you tell them what you want and it's probably already been pulled, if not they do it. Maybe it's a bigger place.

well, they have 2 yards, the larger one, you cant go out into, they pull the stuff and charge you to pull it. the smaller one, you sign a waiver and pay 2 bucks plus whatever you pull. then on various days thruought the month, they have a 100 dollar dragout day where you pay 100 bucks and whatever you can carry out in a single trip is yours. and if the value of your stuff is less than 100 bucks, you just pay regular price for it. so we go out and pull a hood off a pickup and load it up with stuff and drag it to the front.

and id rather having it sitting on flat tires (cus it had Iroc wheels) than tear up the body the way they did. pissed me off.
