They start at $16,995 apparently. Even the LS has good equipment, and it wouldn't be fair to compare a Cruze LS to its competition because the competition is so lacking.

Yeah! Very similar proportions. FYI to those who may have missed it: US Cruze built in Lordstown, Ohio.

The Cruze is another great example of the
quality vehicles that are being produced!!

You have to drive one and experience the
unbelievable "feel" of the the Cruze.

We can't keep them in stock..
and just got RS orders placed..

All they have here is base of base models with the only options being floormats and automatic transmissions. These do not look that good. I would be interested in a higher level model as they look much better and would definatl even consider buying if they would produce that hatchback version

Selling pretty well here in West Michigan. I have three in stock right now.

I agree about the hatchback version....lots of customers like the versatility of a hatchback and a few have been asking about it.

Maybe Im reading the Wikipedia article wrong, but at first I thought it was a car that was designed "globally" (READ: outside USA) but is replacing two unrelated vehicles; one South Korean Daewoo model and the Australian Holden model.

The last paragraph describes a factory in Elizabeth, South Australia that is being utilized to produce two models of the Cruze, a sedan and a Hatchback version.

I do realize that they have also mentioned a plant in Ohio but Im not sure whose making what or where at this point. Anybody wanna share some clarity?

Lordstown Assembly builds the NA-spec Cruze. Holden builds the Cruze at the Elizabeth plant for Australia and some export markets.
