This happens to me all the time. It's hilarious. I especially love the older ones that have the double sided tape on vent covers, 3 star rims, 6" exhaust tip, belching blue smoke..... I just shake my head and laugh

Between those and guys in Nissan Sentra SERs I always get a chuckle. I had a guy in an SER drive like an ass hat through traffic, weaving the whole way just to get up beside me at a light. He was revving his car up to redline waiting for the light to change, but apparently wasn't expecting the light to change when it did because he dumped the clutch and stalled it. My wife rolled down her window and started golf-clapping at the guy when he finally got off on the same exit as us and was waiting to turn right. That must have infuriated him because he spun his front tires from the stop sign but wasn't looking at the cop coming the opposite way who whipped around to stop him as I drove off the other direction. C-L-A-S-S-I-C!

Yeah, but you're talking less than a percent of Civic owners who've spent the coin to get to that level and it takes more than an eBay turbo and a fart-can muffler to get there. Besides, 99.9% of the ones on the street don't even have that eBay turbo.

I agree with this. We're not talking about the hardcore TT spoon powered civics here. We're talking about the jokers who tint their windows, throw a bus sized exhaust on their car, lower it, slap some neons underneath, and now believe they are from the fast and the furious movies......

+1 I've seen some EF civic hatches sporting all motor K20's that, on the exterior, look like your average fried rice take out box, but are pretty damn quick.

Personally, I let the ricers and racers be. No justification in showing off to them. You're already driving a pretty bad ass statement.
