What is there to argue...I mean -- "discuss"...then? Unless you include value/price...ANY car is unremarkable.

The ZR1 isn't special. Lots of other cars can do what it does. But it costs 2-4x LESS than them...that's where the discussion comes in, imo. Same for the GT500 and some other cars that perform just as well.

because it has a bang for your buck iron block and ancient rear end....but no bang for your buck price.

I'm a Scooby fan myself, but don't go fooling yourself into thinking AWD makes up for a lack of balance and structural tuning. You praise to Subaru having done this for years applies to dirt racing...where AWD matters most.

As for the GT500 comparison, it's a fine specimen but the bang for your buck still belongs to Chevy...for the Vette all along and soon for the Camaro again.
Thank You.

A tick over 13.0 sec. and you're through the quarter-mile. It's a rush, of course, but not overly dramatic. Try the same thing with this pair's predecessors of 1970 or so and you'll find yourself in a bit of a wrestling match. Ain't progress wonderful? Maybe yes, and maybe sometimes it's fun to wrestle."

I wouldnt feel bad if the camaro could only muster a .34 on the skid pad. id still buy one over the challenger. dont get me wrong, I love the looks of the chally, but bang for the buck, you cant beat a chevy.

I can however attest to taking a bread truck on hard corners at high speed before. (fun things you do when you are bored overseas)

id rate its lat g-specs at about 0.83....

before the truck flipped.
