This looks to me like it was the turning point, was uncalled for and rude. Totally unnecessary, and maybe "Pete" had a problem with being very understanding because he couldn't use the word "except" properly in the sentence. It appeared to me that Amy had moved on, it had been more than 24 hours since it all started (I think)...

Sorry, had to go there, I hope you can "accept" (or is it except?) my unbiased opinion.

We've been playing since the kids were early teens. A few of them are out of school now.

You are leading the Jury - Keep it unbiased and state it correctly. The arguer that is "basically begin kicked out of the league" Actually QUIT (caps for emphasis) - And i PROMISE YOU (caps for loud emphasis) if we needed to or wanted to or howerver you want to put -Let them back in the league - WE would allow them back in the League GUARANTEED!!!!!

BTW - for those who want to go to Our League on ESPN, our league ID is 13539 - Which means that we were the Thirteen Thousand Five Hundred and thirty nineth league to join ESPN FF out of literally Hundreds of thousands now. SO yes we have been on ESPN for a long time.... and we dont plan to change or end this anytime soon.

Yes Pete has issues - but you and i both know that.... And will Probably whine about the issue for a while. But here's the Deal:

They Quit, they werent kicked out...... Yes, discussions would have probably come up about "Possibly" kicking out - The ONE Arguer, But it didnt becuase they QUIT first and furthermore, We will let them back in the League -If they want - I GUARANTEE IT!!!!!!!! Because i shop at The Men's Wearhouse.

Oh and another BTW, No one HATES anyone else, as you so elequently put it once, but rather as you put it another way, A difference in Personalities and Styles, that tend to Grate on the nerves of one side more than the Other...

Right. That's why I sent you the link the moment I started this thread. I wanted you to make sure I'm not being biased unintentionaly. I had to delete stuff and edit some of my posts that I felt could be considered leading.


I'm glad I started this thread though. One thing that I learned, or was confirmed to me, by some of the feedback is that this is actually pretty stupid. And I think it goes deeper than the situation at hand.

Eric and Amy seem to be the problem. I disagree that they should be, but fact remains, if you remove them from the equation, none of this happens.

So I guess I need to let it go. Path of least resistance. It's just not easy to do. But, much easier for one person to do it than mulitple people.

I didn't want to mention the party who could be kicked out had already quit becasue that would give it away. I was generaly refering to the fact that this party will more than likely be voted out for next year. Eric said he'd play next year and didn't get any resistance to that. Amy? Nuther story.

Hates is strong. But I think acurate here. Just the way I see it. With the few involved.

I may have to just let it lie. Out of 16 teams, it's pretty much harmony with 14 if 2 are left out and new ones brought in. Maybe 15 left in and 1 out.

Basically, we have two people on our league, Amy and Pete, who are not gonna put up with even the slightest of backtalk. They clashed in this case.

I'm almost certain that if Amy and Pete had ever met and spent any personal time together that they'd be much more capable of handling the smack and style of participation that the other doles out.

Yes, Amy did quit. But I talked to Eric and Amy and they have said they might want to play next year. Eric for sure. Initialy the attitude was that Amy would not be allowed. That's where I had a problem. If Amy were to be not allowed, then Pete, being just as culpable, should not be allowed either. (Which is not even up for debate from ANYONE) He is a founding member, oh, and the patriarch of one of the families. And a father to me as well.

So my only thing is, Amy should not be penalized. Tone has changed a bit. Me and ('Travis' ) can only hope. Me and Travis (Trey) as the other two commisioners, and liasons to the respective families, are trying to moderate it.

Rules are rules. Accept them at the start, and don't complain when they're enforced. The problem started when Amy over-reacted and began acting like a drama queen.

She never argued the rules. I would have ruled to reset his TE if we didn't have the over-riding 'Computer Rules' rule. They were unaware of that rule. They never had a problem before. Once she was made aware, she never argued.

I decided it would be easier this way though. If you have gunpowder, and fire, you have to keep a close eye on it. If you remove the fire, you don't have to worry about the gunpowder as much. You just have to make sure you don't play with matches. Why keep them together?

Problem solved.
