Good move now get some sticky tire's and go for 10's, the record so far is 11.1

Remember you need to put some heat in the stock 20's before they hook since they are a race compound tire.

I think the new 2011 aluminum 5.4L one of the best looking engine's on the market today, especially on a car for under $50k and is easy to work on and see just about every component without any useless plastic covers.

The 2011 engine's look much nicer than my 2010. The 2011's have that Ford GT look to them.
But that noise dampening padding on the firewall looks like ass.

Gotta admit, I don't get it. One of the major handling gripes leveled at the Camaro is too much understeer/plow which would make judging the placement of a car going into a corner more difficult than it is in the Mustang. In turn that would actually increase the likelihood of this sort of thing happening if the driver isn't competent.

The comparison here doesn't make any sense.

Longest thread I ever ever read. Took about 2 evenings worth of reading. One post in the whole thread was hilarious. Something about Jumper cables LOL!
Great debates throughout! Bottom line is there are only two affordable american made performance cars on the road (cause Dodge thinks the Challengers slow ass is worth more) and they are both beasts. Camaro vs Mustang is Epic!

I paid 28 and some change for our Challenger R/T. Close to the same price as my 2011 Mustang GT and less than my 1SS Camaro.

Go figure.

New Boss specs? Not Impressed!

So I've been looking at specs for the new 2012 Boss 302 and I must say. I'm NOT impressed.

Horsepower: 444@7200rpm 32more than the GT
It appears to be the exact same motor with just better turning. I race "Can Tuned" 2011 5.0 all the time at the track that probably make 444hp!

It's got 18hp more than a LS3 SS and at 3631lbs its only 229lbs lighter, and factory tires are a whole 10mm wider.

Lets compare.

MSRP of my 2010 LS3 1SS: 30,945
Add my muffler delete plus tips: 150
Add K&N: 380
Add NX plus GEN-X: 1,335
Add Trinity: 600
TOTAL: 33,410

MSRP of 2012 Boss 302: 40,145

some reason I don't feel like I'd be scared when one tries to play next to me on the interstate.. I'll just let the 150shot do it's thing.

i havent seen the new BOSS yet is the power differnce the only thing different, or is the body style different as well. i cant see Ford charging a couple extra grand for a tuned 5.0
