*Revolution Automotive tune
*UPR upper and lower control arms and Panhard Bar
*BMR lowering springs

6th pass: 12.47@117.24 2.22 60ft.
The last run I tried to get to aggressive with the launch and it spun real bad. Was launching at 2500rpm and seemed to hook real good. I cant believe it pulled 119mph and I was excited about the 1.79 60ft. on stock Pirelli tires.
I did make 2 runs with a set of Nitto 555r 18in drag radials that a friend of mine brought to the track with him. I didnt have good success on them, they spun bad, so I switched back to the Pirellies, go figure.
1st pass: 12.14@117.04 1.98 60ft.

Given your mod list, those are some great times! Any times with the 555r? I'm surprised they didn't work out for ya.

How do people get 5 to 6 mph trap speed increases with these mustangs with only ~30hp worth of mods? and this is assuming he could have trapped 114 stock...which is also rare

Is weight being taken out and not mentioned? it just doesnt add up.

(highest trap I have ever seen for a 6 speed car stock is 114...he hit 119)

axle back...little gain...x-pipe...wow...and a tune. The car doesnt even have headers. The car really doesnt even have any real performance mods besides the tune. IT is far from full bolt on.

5-6 mph trap increase? that is 50-60hp all things staying equal.

someone educate me. (and I know all about the stock rev limiter...not buying that as the reason)

The car is trapping as fast as ls3 vettes while having no more power to the wheels (ls3 vettes ~390whp) and being 400lbs heavier...once again...educate me.

I know these cars get a lot form the tune while still being on the stock manifolds (such a good design) but this is just odd. I am skeptical to say the least.

Damned near 120mph trap speeds before headers. Even if it had longtubes that is very very impressive!!! The 5.0 is a beast of an engine!!!!!

i dunno. he did mention the back seat being out. but otherwise no weight reductions.

when i was at bowling green watching 2011's with those same mods, they all ran 117-119 mph traps. 410-425rwhp/3600lbs car-3800lbs race weight. they are doing it. i dont know why.

maybe its the first 100 feet. a 5.0 with lca's/uca's can really put it down and hit 1.6x 60' times.

for example here has been my own past experience with mph in that territory.

a car that runs 119mph should ET in the 11.4-11.5 range with ~390rwhp and 3100lbs race weight. keeping the ratios the same, it should take 478rwhp for a 3800lb race weight car to do the same.

he should have run 114mph for a 11.95 time. ideally. IMO.

i guess i should run mine this spring. my Woman will not care for that one bit. its the only way i can know for myself and not be BS.

my next changes are uca/lca's.
the way my car sits today it should be in the 410-415rwhp range.

i have decided to add long tubes to it. im waiting for dyno results from stepped headers. 1 3/4" - 1 7/8" steppers.
