I see a trend.. GM used TI in commercials for the Impala. It should get the axe next!

Yep, he got caught up with a bunch of WMU students that were using COA planes to fly them out of KAZO.

"On October 2, 1978, Allen was arrested in the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport for possession of over 650 g (1.4 lb) of cocaine. He subsequently pled guilty to drug trafficking charges, and provided the names of other dealers in exchange for a sentence of three to seven years rather than a possible life imprisonment."

I would know. I went to western, graduated the college of aviation, and the feds still come around. <_<

1978? Really? What is this some crackpot (no pun intended) 'alternative' news program?

Mr. Goodwrench linked all the brands together under one umbrella. That has been a problem for a while with the company. Chevy should be separated from Cadillac should be separate from Buick should be separate from GMC. They've got the brands positioned and performing well enough to do it....now it's time to actually DO IT.

GM is progressively removing its corporate name from the 4 core brands, outside of where it legally needs to be. It started with the chicklets....

Good news. Though I was fond of the 'goodwrench' label.

As real as the Trans Am sitting in my garage. Still hard to believe but it did happen. Never graduated WMU because of it but got an honorary degree during/after Home Improvement's run.

In fact they used the campus/union as a set for a few episodes. One of which we used as a meeting place for the Campus Activities Board; brought stuff like Dane Cook, Dave Chapelle, The Fray to campus.. before they ended up hitting it big and wouldn't give any schools that weren't multi-billion dollar institutions the time of day..

Oh, please. I think he's redeemed himself since then. People can change and learn from their mistakes. He's publicly said it was a tough lesson and he's moved on.

Tim Allen is the voice for the new Cruze commercials.

Suck it Trebek!

Stuff a 4.8L v8 in the cruze. Give it a retro nose and quarters. Badge it as a nova.

Did I specifically call him a crackhead? I only provided the information and a bit of what I know from having gone to Western. Maybe you should edit his wikipedia page if you don't like that paragraph.. since it's from wikipedia.

And Wikipedia can't be trusted.. because there's no such thing as a 5th gen Camaro. <_<

I say get rid of the "certified" part. Sounds like a corner used car dealership.

Being certified is what separates them from the the average used car dealership

"But now that G.M. and its new marketing boss, Joel Ewanick, are putting an emphasis on the automaker’s four core brands, Mr. Goodwrench is getting the boot.

G.M. said Monday it would phase out the Goodwrench name in the United States on Feb. 1."

“This is more than a name change — it is a declaration of our commitment to our customers,” said Steve Hill, vice president and general manager of G.M. customer care and aftersales.

Goodwrench will be replaced by the Certified Service tag for each brand: Chevrolet Certified Service, Cadillac Certified Service, Buick Certified Service and GMC Certified Service.

“Certified Service supports G.M.’s strategy to focus on the four brands,” said Mr. Hill, explaining that the new strategy provides “a natural extension of the customer’s vehicle purchase experience at the dealership.”
He didn't get canned, he retired.

Chevy Runs Deep is the new catch phrase? It wasn't very long ago that everybody was supposed to say Chevrolet instead of Chevy.
