off topic but is the cts v bigger than the camaro? could they use that platform to make a full sized couple like a chevelle?

They could but they won't. The car would be too similar to the Camaro in price, performance, and size. Only real difference would be styling, and I doubt they could make a Chevelle look better than the Camaro. Also, the general public knows 'Camaro' far better than 'Chevelle'. Building a new Chevelle makes less sense than doing a new Firebird, which they never planed on doing either, even before Pontiac died.
