M3? Um, no way. Insurance costs alone for you would pay for a new Camaro by the end of the lease.
Might I suggest a nice 2011 Hyundai Sonata. They are running a lease special for $199/mo right now.

well at your age, people will assume youre a tool if you drive around in a bmw m3. But of course, most people will think the same thing with the camaro. But that's beside the point. If this is your first car. I do not recommend either the SS or the M3. You're likely to kill yourself in a 200HP V6 so even a 300HP V6 is pushing it. You're going to get in fender benders guaranteed, so get a cheap car. If your parents are paying go for the V6 Camaro. Bang the heck out of it, and upgrade when you have the money to get a better car and have learned how to drive.
Also, refrain from bragging about the fact that you have a new ANYTHING. 95% of your peers are too poor to get any sort of new car and jealousy may get the best of them. And in college, that could easily lead to keying, or even a drunken ass kicking. oh yeah, and check into insurance prices for yourself with these high power cars. At your age you will probably pay anywhere from $500-2000/mo depending upon your current record and parent's insurance company.

Go with the Camaro. Why rent/lease a car? Buy it. |

If they ever buy me a camaro it would be the v6. In my opinion i do not care about speed or horsepower i just like the look of a car. What the point of a car that can go 200 if the highest speed limit is 75.

If it's going to be your 1st car might I suggest a late 80's early 90's Toyota Crapolla with about 300,000 miles and pretty well beat to hell. That way when you're done tearing it up you won't know the difference...just a suggestion...lol

YOU ASKED! I'm guessing you're in high school since you didn't say. I think you need to wake up. Have your parents buy you a $4000 used car at the best. You'll tear it sooner or later and you might as well learn on a used car. Also after you drive and maintane an older car for a while you'll appreciated a new car. Some people go for many years before they can afford a new car. In fact I think you need to save your own money and pay at least half on the car and all of the insurance/gas yourself. It teaches responsibility and respect. If your parents do buy/lease you a car it's best to keep it to yourself. It takes a lot of hard work and years to save the $$ to buy it yourself. As far as leasing I would never lease. It's like throwing you $$ away. It's the worse way (most expensive) to drive a car. YOU ASKED! |

Hyundai Genesis Coupe?...like other posters have said, if you are trying to get a 300hp Coupe as an alternative/holdover, might as well get a Camaro.

Partrick: I want my first car to be something to remember not something like that. My first car is the only car i will ever have bought for me in my life so a crapolla would not be my first choice.
