Pretty simple! Give a $40,000.00 performance car a paint job worthy of its name and stature. Pretty obvious that most owners recognize the paint to be a problem.Which also means that that GM does also so you deal with it.Change the process or improve upon it.That is what I think they should do.Called "continuous improvement" at least that is what the old GM used to tell us!

Most of the paint issues can be attributed to the absolute CRAP water based paint that Al Gore and his money making phoney green media complex has forced upon the unsuspecting consumers.

Go back to petroleum based solvents and these paint issues would subside.

VOC's have nothing (to my knowledge) to do with global warming. Its an air quality issue and there are numerous health risks associated with it.

If they can say CO2 is a "pollutant" they can say VOC's influence "Global Warming".

Since "Global Warming" is just a theory/religion, they can say anything they want anyway, since the EPA is not accountable to anyone and is running completely unchecked.

For that matter, they can also claim that VOC's and CO2 are causing the extinction of the Unicorn too. (Better ban them ASAP!)

Are you seriously saying that the real reason why VOC's are being eliminated isn't because of their established connection with respiratory problems and cancer (among other health concerns) but rather because of some correlation to greenhouse gas emissions that the EPA is inexplicably keeping a secret?

My Camaro had just as much as either of my Mustangs. Not just a "Ford" issue. My Camaro was more prone to paint chipping however. I was always paranoid driving it worrying about how close I was following the car in front. Not so much so with the Mustangs.

I agree when we pay this much for our cars...they should have better quality paint.
