The new Ferrari's are amazing cars dynamically, unfortunately as good as they are in that respect they are just as amazing for their terrible styling. A Ferrari is about more than going fast or even being sleek, and Enzo Ferrari would have never signed off on the stuff they are building now.

The 458, arguably the best of the modern bunch, isn't really bad stylistically, it just isn't great and it certainly isn't a proper Ferrari. Cars like the F355, 365 GTB/4 'Daytona', 265 GTB4, and a plethora of other classic are truly rolling works of art. Everything built since the F355/456GT/575 trio that preceded this new design ethic looks like it was styled by a guy imagining what a Lamborghini would look like if a Japanese car company built it.

Again, arguably the 458 is the best of the modern bunch, and even it isn't worthy. I always used to wonder if things would change for the worse when Enzo died, now Enzo has been dead for some time and I no longer wonder.

What? The 458, 430, and 360 look amazing. I think the styling keeps getting better. The 360 has been out since 99 and the styling still looks like it is brand new.

Each to their own I suppose, but I think all three cars demand a pretty liberal definition of amazing to qualify.

agreed. i presonlly think the 458 italia is the sexiest ferrari ever. the lines are soo smooth yet very agressive the technology is superb the sound it makes is orgasmic.

the way i see it the zr1 is like a demon out of hell.
the 458 is like a angel gracing earth.
