Performance to dollar, it's a ripoff, exclusivity is what is selling it. On the battle of the supercars they put it up against a 140k R* V10 and i believe they tied 2 to 2 and were extremely close in all battles. the R8 V10 is one of the slower supercars. I would easily take a Ferarri 458 or Porsche 911 Turbo over the LFA (actually i could have both for the price of the LFA). there is always someone out there with more money than brains.

IMO the only thing cool about the LFA is its exhaust note.

If you're looking simply for performance/dollar, the zr1 is the best car out there, but if I had half a mill to waste on a car, the zr1 would hardly be my first choice. Yes, this car is very expensive for the performance you get, but I doubt most people that are cross-shopping $400,000 supercars are wondering, "what does this one trap in the 1/4 mile?"

If i was looking and had that of cash, the LFA would not be on my radar, sorry..... THey are far looking and far more prestigous cars available for the money or far less. OMHO, I would have a 458 Italia no questions asked. Not only will it outperform the Lexus and actually feel and still sound like a racecar it simply have one of the sexiest bodies in all of autodom, the Lexus just does not even compare.

I don't think the LFA looks that bad. I would definitely take the 458 first.

The LFA reminds me of a modern, more eccentric, 94 supra.

but if the lfa was the price of the viper and zr1 that would be awesome *considering that the lfa is around their range of performance i believe* maybe if it was around the 90000-120000?

The plan is for the Supra to be a GT-R fighter? That sounds interesting. I always thought it they re-released it that it would be an affordable coupe much like the Mustang and Camaro.

oh i don't know that what i would do if i was toyota. But they could be making a n/a supra to be around camaro and mustang price and have a twin turbo compete with the gtr.

I don't think they'll be using too much aluminum and carbon fibre on a Supra.
