I just picked this up two days ago, it is my second GT500, had a 2008 also.I also had a 2010 2SS auto, and a 2011 2SS stick Camaro.
You have to actually spend some seat time in a car to see which one is better.Reading stats out of a magazine isn't the whole story.
While this is $15-20K more than the Camaro, it's the little things that make it more enjoyable.
