hey guys new to the site, when is this car coming out? looks really cool. also when looking at some of the pictures i noticed something about a shunt in the trunk. What is a shunt? thanks

first, i would suggest you use the advanced

to make sure there ain't already 10 threads about your topic. some people have been flamed pretty bad for

something that's been beaten to death

My workload has lessened substantially the past few days and I've been steady on this forum trying to soak up all the information I can about this car. I haven't had such a deep rooted obsession since i got my dirt bike back in '02. Anyways! I figured I'd introduce myself to all other new members and those who've been here for a while. I'm 21 yrs old, been in the Army for 2 yrs and some change, currently deployed in Iraq. I just came back off of leave and while I was home I ordered my Camaro at the local dealership in my hometown of El Paso, TX. So hopefully I'll have my IBM 1SS with 20" polished wheels and all black interior waiting for me when I get home. That's a welcome home present if I ever heard of one! lol. Other than the Camaro, I'm all about having a good time. I love the alternative sports like motocross, snowboarding, rollerblading, wake boarding and I do decently at all of them. on a side note, I can't believe I've never stepped into this thread seeing that it's been here for so long. Ignoring the stickies makes you miss stuff...

Just sayin hello. I have been watching this site for a few months now and have seen a few opportunities to chime in so figured it was time to join. I have not ordered a Camaro. My plan right now is to wait till they are readily available on dealer lots. I would like an SS and hopefully a convertible. I know that could be a few years off but I am willing to wait. Besides I bought a GXP Solstice a year ago to fill my midlife sportscar fix for now.

That solstice should tide you over for a while. The convertible is supposed to be arriving for 2011, but you wanted one on a dealer lot first? Yeah, you're probably gonna have to wait.
