If you kill it with the clutch when you are first learning the clutch feel (fill?) and try and restart the gauges (as you know) initialize and swing from zero to the top them back again and then to the true reading.

During this time your motor can/may be running and if the window is down and it's a little noisy you may not hear the engine running.

You cannot try to start the car again while the motor is running. It protects you from yourself.

Don't ask how I know this.

I discovered today that if you shove the clutch in you can change the traction control button on the fly. I believe the owner's manual says the car must be at a stop for the button to work, but maybe pushing in the clutch pedal and tapping the brakes fools the system.

You should be able to start the engine as long as it's in neutral. Haven't tested it on the Camaro (and don't intend to!) but I became very familiar with popping into neutral and restarting my 89 firebird fast as hell a few years back when the timing slipped... every left turn it would stall it...
And very tricky to do while turning left with a sudden loss of power steering and power brakes....

Same thing happens if you use the remote start. If your car is already started, and out of habit you turn the key to "start" anyway when you get it, the car won't turn over. (neat "save your pride feature" if nobody sees you turn the key all the way)

found out while driving with a case of bottled water in the passenger seat will set off the seat belt alarm thinking a person is sitting there unbelted.

Re learn means re learning which wheel is which if you rotate them or take 2 wheels off at once and do not put them back onto the same axles. It does not mean relearn air pressure. Read your book.

Well hate to admit it but I just discovered sports mode. I didn't know that there is manual and sports mode.

I had my car for a almost a year too. In my defense only has 4,000 miles, so I haven't drove it much until recently.

Leaving the back seat down makes for a lot more road noise!

I recently discovered that my full sized mnt bike can fit in the trunk with the back seat folded down. I previously thought it would not be able to go through the trunk opening but it did (with front wheel and seat taken off)

Take up golf instead. We know you can fit the clubs in the trunk.

I've been wondering about that! Now I'll have to try it and see if I can bring mine from my parents house!
