I play HL2 online as an escape...have since the first HL came out years ago.

HL pissed off to many gamers early on, it was popular but not like the others back in the day.

And why is back in those days when you bought a new video card, you got a kick ass game with it free, full versions of the latest n best games.
As you spent so much.

HL creators pulled a fast one on folks, said all over the box full version of HL bla bla bla included an when you get home you find out its only 1 lvl and just stop, 1 real easy lvl, then with a microscope you see the fine print that's calls it a full version demo aka ripe off. [member then we had lots of card makers, each one made the same card really, they just offered different games to get you to buy, and it was the 3DFX games that were hot then.]

Though after that no one ever tried that word play trick again.......

The original half life is one of my all time favorite games. It was the first game to get just about everything right: AI, sound and music effects, graphics and a compelling storyline. Plus, the multiplayer rocked! HL2 was awesome as well, and Portal is amazing. Wish they would hrry and release HL3, though...

I'm a huge Valve fan. TF2 is probably one of my favorite game of all time.
L4d is good when I have friends to play with.

I'm a big fan of HL2 and have replayed it several times. Looking forward to Black Mesa (the updated version of the original HL built on the HL2 platform.)

LOVE the half life series! Such awesome games! The only thing I didn't like was the Half Life 2 'episodes' they tried to do. Not enough game play to justify waiting in anticipation for. Would MUCH rather they just take the time and do an entire game instead of a few levels.

I made one of those videos, unfortunately it didn't win any mentions. Finally got to play The Sacrifice last night around 11pm... to have it crash on the second map, twice.
