So I don't want to ask in the other thread, can one of you whores that has been here most of the day tell me what the fu** is going on other than the delay of course. I am wondering if I missed anything else big. abl, hud, the headlight thing zebra is talking about. I missed the whole day because of my new job, i don't have a pc anymore. What else did I miss?

I think this is about it...at the begining of the thread from Scotty. Oh, and no specific word on ABL other than they're working on it diligently, and I think something about maybe not getting it into the first production cars. And, again I think, no word on the Cadence situation. Damn, I read so much today I'm starting to loose it!

when the sensor thinks it's 'dark', it overrides the headlight switch & turns on the entire headlight/tail light system. (sometimes even just driving with the sun behind me) i then have absolutely no control over what the lights did (other than signals/hazards/high beams). it was a safety feature they went overboard with in the 99 models.

The thing that is pissing people off the most is that one of the other dealers (not Camaro Scotty) said that the V8 might just be a limited production model. but i took it with a grain of salt.

my comment about the Automatic Headlights was talking about my 1999 GMC. my comments about this feature in NO WAY relate to the Camaro.

Oh, it's going to be constrained a bit with the dealers each getting two V6s fairly early on, but not to the extent the EVS Corvette guys think. I seriously doubt the SS is going to be a rarity for very long. I get the feeling those guys are really trying to help, but they're seeing it strictly from a Corvette point of view.
