It seems to me like you might be Canadian.
Well, in my general observations regarding your behavior in posts in general, you are rather quite negative for being Canadian.

My advice, quit being so negative! Or at least move out of our country. Please. Thank you! Have a nice day.

PS: Go GM!

Thanks for confirming what I said. GM's number still include 12,000 units of Saturn and Pontiac and a few Hummers and Saabs to boot. GM knew, and we all knew (except for maybe you, Lowdown) that GM could not retain 100% of those numbers.

So all in all, GM is doing fabulously well. When you consider that Ford gets a "they didn't take a bailout" bump, it looks even better for GM's recovery.

BTW, did you happen notice those Regal sales?

Yup, I believe they sold around the same number last month as well. Also heard that demand is outpacing supply now. Should be interesting to see what happens when production starts up at Oshawa.

Here's what boggles my mind....

When there was nothing but bad news for GM, people cried for something to happen. They wanted CEOs to be fired, unions to be broken, designers to be replaced. So many said "If only they did something RIGHT, I could be excited and support/buy/whatever GM."

Well...now that day has come, by most measures. There's been a great deal of good news for over a year, the cars look great, they're outselling themselves, the competition is dumbstruck, owners are happy -- and yet, in the midst of it all....there are these cynical pessimists who still feel compelled to nitpick and highlight every negative clippet, and ignore the positive aspect of the situation. Why? No...I know why, and it's a stupid reason.

I guess my only solace is that these knuckleheads are in the VAST minority...but it's like a dang mosquito...you just want to SMACK IT!

Rock On, General -- and keep it up!!

CAMARO5.com RULES. Please read this before posting!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey all, and welcome to the Camaro5.com chat forums, here are some basic rules we should all try to live by

1) Respect. By far the most important rule here. Through the generations of Camaros, enthusiasts have come together for the love of the car and the community (in fact, the name "Camaro" means "friend, pal, or comrade"). So, the basic rules of real life apply here, show each other respect and you will get respect as well. Don't bash someone else here because you feel like it. Personally insulting other members will not be tolerated.

2) Disagree, don't attack. Disagree on topics, but try to leave it at that. Just because you don't like someones opinion on the car's engine, doesn't mean you should call him and his mother all sorts of names Disagreements are fine, and you should feel free to express your difference of opinion, but don't go out of your way to insult and flame someone. Please consider if you would say to someone's face the same thing you are posting.

The "sh*t" remark was quoted from a previous poster...correct? I simply "clarified" to my comprehension what that "loyalist" was stating and, as there was no rebuttal, apparently accurately so...

The Market Share reports are accurate...no?

The trends are obvious...no?

Shedding 4 Brands, as GM did, no doubt would/will have a negative effect...right?

Over 81% of consumers in September bought a non-GM vehicle. Which is a vast majority... You may think of those people as you may, but the rules are the rules...no?

Questioning my parentage, nationality, or insight to FACTS is...well...questionable, at best... Don't shoot the messanger.

Seems # 1 and 2, above, are flagrantly disregarded, here...

3 GM vehicles grace my garage and driveway. And ONLY GM... NO imports.

Just sayin'...

I am very happy to see these numbers for both GM and Chrysler. To the naysayers, this is going to take time. Economies are still soft and to see even these kind of sales right now is good.

Amen, I'm glad that the big 3 look like they're regaining their footing in some uncertain times.

I am extremely happy with the "new" GM. The designs coming out and the level of commitment to changing the brand image are excellent. I think about the future of GM and i actually get excited about what may be coming our way. I don't think I could have done that 5 yrs ago. I almost lost hope for them, but now my faith is renewed!

Isn't this like preaching to the choir? You're just trying to sit in both chairs.
