the best commercial to come out of gm is this one.

personaly the g8 commercial against the bmw5 series are dumb. when it comes down to the end of it the g8 is still a pontiac, even tho it might be faster, cheaper, and get better milage than the bmw.

It's an odd strategy, but it makes sense. They are playing off the general misconception that american cars are of lesser quality than imports. GM has admitted that in the past thier products were sub-par, but are now trying to get the general public to realize that this isn't the case anymore.

For those of you puzzled about the G8 comparasion to the BMW 5 series, you should do what I did and drive them both on the same day. There is very little difference in how they handle and the G8 is a tad quicker. The interior of the BMS is better, but I can't say it is $30K better.
