Camaro = $1500 in GM Accessories

Lacrosse (+ $7000) surpasses a former fleet queen @ fleet prices

Equinox/Terrain numbers vs. '09s built for only 6 months...looks good in the press releases

SRX vs. RX 350/450h?

The Lexus RXs, in Canada by themselves, outsell ALL CADILLAC including SRX, and are Canadian-built in a JD Power-awarded Gold Medal plant. THAT honor used to belong to Oshawa...while the SRX suffers quality issues

Let's truly hope the Cruze is what it needs to be. If not, ohoh...

Then again, there's always that shining bright star...CHINA!

Oh I did...

...but there's no easy way to explain Industry-record incentives (now including Camaro) and declining Market Share, while a plant or three struggle to keep up...

Remember a few short months ago when MSRP + for Camaros was the RULE? Any Dealer trying for "Market Adjustment" now is living in dreamland...

The "original" Lacrosse enjoyed tremendous initial success in late-'04 into '06...and then quickly became a "fleet queen", much like the former COTY Malibu is now. And the "true" tast of SRX will start right about now, with year-over-year, same-vehicle sales figures...

I don't recall $1500 worth of incentives being an industry record, but if it is I don't know what that makes the 2010 Mustang's incentives; I mean even the 2011's incentives are worse.

First, 4,376 of the Mustangs sold in May were 2010 models, and those coupes could be had with $2,500 on the hood and financing between zero and 5.9 percent – depending on the length of the loan. According to Edmunds.com, the 2011 Mustang has $1,500 on the hood for returning lessees and conquests alike, plus financing as low as zero percent for 36 months.

...and Ford's Market Share, profitability, and stock prices are WHERE?

Keep in mind Ford didn't take an 8-week vacation last year, so their Share improvements are REAL...not based on weak year-ago YTD numbers.

As Fenwick said, recently, "I wish I'd bought Ford shares when they were [less than $1.50, March/09]." An 8- or 9-fold increase is pretty damned impressive...

GM's average Retail Incentive, per vehicle sold, exceeds $4,000.
