Last time I read up on it the guy did eventually get into the 10's with the car bone stock. I knew it took him a ton of passes and really good conditions...just like any hero time...but still impressive. Most will never hit 10's stock or even with a tire.

Yeah there are 1 or 2 guys that have runs 10's bone stock with the Z. Like a dozen or more with just a tire so go back to your friend and tell him not to even try to bring up the argument until a 2011 GT500 runs 10's bone stock(Super Snakes dont count). That will be pretty compairable to the new GT350 performance wise. Truthfully I dont even see why you would want a GT350 over a GT500 unless you are going to hold on to it for collecter value. They are both going to perform around the same and the GT350 with dealer markup will be way more than the GT500 and probably more than a Zo6.

The performance of the GT350 IMO wont really justify the price. With that said, the GT350 will be able to "hang" but the z06 should be a bit faster still.

Yeah 63k for a base model and only 550hp is a no for me. Would make a fine collector car though.

z06 hands down. I wouldn't call it a spanking, but it sure isn't gonna be a drivers race.
