Up here in the north, we get to watch mountains of trees turn colors.
Fall is great in Texas because it's followed by a winter where the average temp is in the 60s and snow is a novelty that, if it happens, lasts about 6 hours. I can drive the Camaro year round here, on summer tires even. As for sand, well, this is the entrance to my neighborhood, I'm having some trouble finding this sand you speak of...I do see mountains of trees though, and some of them even change colors!

OOPS!

So guess who left the data plan active on his work phone while in Mexico for four days? $2200.00 in international data roaming charges, but my GM talked them down to $200.

Bad Brando! No!

That's why I love living in California. I don't have to "store" my car for the winter. I have zero snow in my area and can drive year around.

...then I got drunk and surfed C5. Oh well, at least I'm not in trouble.

I lived back east in OH and WV for years and I could care less if I EVER see snow or ice again. If I want snow I drive 3 hours to Tahoe in the winter.

Yeah it's a good thing your GM was understanding. Some people would have went through the roof.
