Check engine light help
Im posting here instead of the electronic section so I can get more responses from just the electrical experts. Anyway I was about to install the HID lights from ACC and found out I was missing the relay harness in the kit. Talked with ACC and they sent one out today. My problem is before I realized it was missing I disconnected the positive terminal to use it as my hot source. When I bolted it back down the check engine light came on and is still on. Anyone have a solution or can tell me how to reset it without bringing it to the dealer?? I hopefull will get the harness in and install it all this weekend but didnt want to have the same problem again.

It should go out on it's own within 50 miles.
