If nobody wants Chrysler vehicles, then their sales should be worse than industry average right? But last I checked, they've been at or above the average. And if their new vehicles aren't any good, then the reviews of the Grand Cherokee should be full of complaints. They aren't.
I would say Chrysler's current sales are poor. They are much poorer than what they 'projected' they would be when they were forced to beg to Congress to stay alive.

A few redesigned interiors on the same basic cars will not save Chrysler. The field is too competitive for them to compete without billions of dollars of free money.

But moving on, Its on the internet that Chrysler has announce that they will have 8 speed transmissions by mid 2011 in thier products, and a 9 speed transmission for FWD products. All by mid 2011, if this is true than WOW.
yes they will be using the same company BMW uses for their transmissions then a year later the factory will be finished and they will be making their own. but for the initial run it will be from the same company who makes trannys for bmw, which are great.

And statistics say they're growing faster than most of their competitors.

And industry hasn't came back to anything approaching normal yet, and their sales forecast were based on slightly below average sales rates, I think Chrysler based it off a 12M/yr US sales total for the US but I'm not really sure what the actual number is. I just know that its significantly higher than the current annual sales rate.

Nobody said it ever would, luckily Chrysler isn't relying a few new interiors. There are new interiors, exteriors, engines, and transmissions, with a couple all new models thrown in. That might have just a bit more of an impact.

I don't know about the Hemi, but this is when the Pentastar is supposed to be hitting the Wrangler lineup, coincidence? I think not. I kinda hope they tune it for maybe a little lower HP and higher torque for the Wrangler.

Well, it already makes quite a bit more torque than the 3.8 does, about 15% more. But it would make sense to shift the operating range down a bit for them.
