I discouraged Carson from Soccer. I don't like it and would rather him play something else.

But I got beef with all the parents I'm dealing with

You live in a strange land. Soccer starts in June and ends in August.

I know all about parents ... I was a ref for a few years during highschool.

Haha, then you know my pain.

Here, fall season is when all of the big youth leagues play (AYSO, US Youth, etc). Summer season is when the higher-up travel teams and olympic development groups play.

Olympic soccer development group? BS.

As a Canadian, I question the existence of any Olympic event that does not include snow or ice. I know they're out there ... but they're all meaningless to me.

I'm just the opposite. I prefer Summer Olympics to Winter. I enjoy watching the Track and Field events.
