yeah my fingers hurt for three days after prying them out. I didn't use a tool though and broke off most of the clips to do it. People that use the right tool say they slip right out though.

Very nice look. On both the IOM and Yellow Camaro's.

Once again this FORUM has proven itself to be valuable to others.

I have to agree that this change looks awsome. I am not a fan of the chrome look when everything else is black accent. I will be stopping by Autozone (again) for another item to make changes. Not sure If I am going to paint these or use the weather stripping idea.

Either way to get the bezels out I will be using the proper tools borrowed from a friend who use to do trim work and has them all. This will certainly save the hands. Thanks again to all those who have posted this good looking tip.

Ok, after reading this I'm still somewhat confused about how to remove them with a screwdriver or flat tool.

Does it go between the bezel and car, or bezel and tail light?

Can someone post a clear pic on how it's done?

Thanks!

OMG don't use a screwdriver!!! I've never seen a the flat tool but I think it's REALLY flat like a butterknife but plastic and you slip it in from the outside between the bumper and the chrome to release the clips. I'd like to see some pictures too and find out if I'm right!

I removed my boss's taillight rings a few weeks ago with a thick popsicle stick like the kind for stirring bondo. I broke a few of the sticks but got all the rings out without messing up his bumper or breaking any of their clips or my fingers.
