Frank - You do not need to explain your self. This site is for people's opinions. No need to explain or apologize. People like tat's and people do not like tat's.
Everyone has the right to voice an opinion.

As for Tat's, yes, many are stupid. But each person wants to have what they want, it is their body. Add to it or desecrate as you wish.

Stoval - I would be interested in seeing what kind of work you are having done. I am just curious.

I have three -
on the right shoulder is an old school navy Tat.
on the left shoulder is a Skull with a Navy SCPO Cap (see my pic), and under that is a 26 link anchor chain wrapping completely around my arm (twice).

I'm a teacher and I had a parent (a dad) that had a huge toxic waste symbol on his head....I had a hard time talking to him seriously about his child's academic progress with that tattoo glaring at me! I see so many tats each day that I am desensitized to them....it is personal preference but like some of the pics on here sometimes I do wonder what people are thinking. I mean some a nice and very artistic but some are just ridiculous. To each is own I guess...I just can't get by tats on your face or head. It really has to limit what kind of occupation you have with all that going on..

Likewise. I love art on a woman that is important to her, and can tell a story (as well as look fantastic).

Names or portraits of actual people... meh. Not my thing.
