I was actually the one to initiate email. It was a fun date, but I wasn't really feeling it. I thought it would be classier to say so than to leave her hanging...but I did expect some backlash

While she's on the phone, have your roommate come into the room and proceed to beat the stuffing out of a pillow with him screaming in the background, and then hang up abruptly.
