Darn impressive!!

I like the handles on the rear doors. That's a nice touch I'm glad they carried over from the concept.
I know I don't have to remind you ... but you already own a Cobalt. Its only 1 step up from an Aveo.

The sedan rendering looks much better than the hatchback. I don't know why, maybe the longer hood and more angled windshield? The interior is impressive for the cheapest car in the lineup. I wouldn't buy the hatchback, don't kill me but if I had to chose from looks alone, I'd probably go with the Fiesta hatchback. It looks much more girly, which I'd assume will be a large chunk of the market. Not that I'd want to drive a girly car personally, but it just fits the style of the car better. Most of the ultra compacts look like they're designed for women.

I am just not feeling it. This market is getting really crowded. By next year we'll have this, the Fiesta, the Mazda 2, the Fiat 500, and the stalwarts such as the Honda Fit, Nissan Versa, Toyota Yaris, Mini cooper in 3 different configurations.

While the Mini is comperable in size to the Aveo, its price tag pretty much excludes it from any serious consideration against the rest of the mainstream subcompacts. Odds are, the Fiat 500 will be the same way.

I almost bought an Aveo, believe it or not. We test-drove both, and I was shocked at the difference (obviously in favor of the Cobalt). This new subcompact could be very very good for people in my position three years ago.

Honeycomb is "played out"....so yester year...........

Honeycomb doesn't go with everything...now I saw a Ford Fiesta at the mall today.......not bad...nice for an entry car.Didn't like the skinny ass tires but it looked better than this Aveo.
