OMG! There's a Leprechaun in my court!

So, this really has no relevance to anything ever, but it was so cool that I thought I'd share.
Since I'm in my last year of high school, I made a resolution to do more school-related activities, the first of which was painting our senior circle. I went Monday and Tuesday and helped paint some walls and puzzle pieces around the outside. I show up again today, and they ask my friend, who's a much better artist than me, to put our school logo up on the pillar in the center of circle. He draws it out, and we paint it together. We lounge around a bit since there wasn't much to do, and they needed something for the junior-year side of the pillar, and remember some leprechaun-related contest. Now they need a leprechaun. And our senior class president asked me to draw it!

There's a little bit of pressure, but I spew out a quick little sketch in five minutes. I get a pencil, take it to the side of the pillar, and start my work. I have it up on the side in roughly ten minutes, and then we need to start painting it. Not much of a color variety, but I made do with what we had, and with the help of my artist friend, we had it painted in about two hours.
The end result was this:

While I really wish we had better brushes to use, I'm glad it came out as good as it did with what we had to work with.
Normally, I wouldn't make such a big deal about something like this, but I'm just a freelance artist on the side, so to actually get something of a project like this and have it end up where over 2,000 people will see it brought out sense of pride in me.

The only thing that pains me is the knowledge that they're just going to paint over it next year, but it's good to know it'll still get to show for the remaining time.
