Congrats on the car. I like the car a lot and was considering it, however the power of the SS was too hard to resist.

None the less, I think the interior of the Genesis is of higher quality than the Camaro and the Infiniti sound system sounds really clean (10" subwoofer included :-))

Please do post pics and enjoy the ride.

You were out of work for 5 months last year. Most likely that was because of the loss of jobs in your local economy due to jobs being outsourced over seas.

You live down the road from Oshawa, St Catherines, and several other large auto manufacturing facilties..... and you buy a car made in Korea.

As I said, with all due respect, but is it just me, or does anyone else see something really wrong with this picture?

This is just ignorant.

@OP...

If you are happy with your purchase then I am happy for you. I do think Hyundai is doing something really special with the Genesis line. They started with the sedan and it trickled down to the coupe. They are doing to others like what Lexus did to the auto makers 20 years ago when they snuck in with high quality cars that were cheap.

I think it will be a good car. I wish you many trouble free miles!

Ignorant? Really? Here are my thoughts on this and if you have a different opinion, we'll talk about it.

You beat me to it and you were much nicer than I would have been. I dont get people who cant see the connection between what they are buying and the lack of jobs here. We won't be able to keep paying for our nice lifestyle if we keep giving our jobs to Korea, China, Mexico. Who is ready for their 5 cent an hour job? Maybe its time we stopped giving tax incentives to companies to ship jobs over seas and start hitting them with big tarrifs if they want to bring products here to sell.

America isn't self sufficient and never will or should be. I suggest we take it to Alfie's thread so we don't thread crap here.

Enjoy your car, it has clean sporty lines and from what I have heard will get up and go. No time to delve into silly politics....its an unwinnable situation.
